Hello fellow vDreamers out there. As promised, we are trying hard to provide our users with a large variety of ways to earn more vDollars. Here are some additional ways for you to get that extra dough:

1. Complete our weekly poll ($1,000 vDollars) : Make sure to leave us your full name so that we know who to reward. The latest poll is here, and we will be having a new one every week.
2. Cars of the Week ($5,000 vDollars) : If you are selected as one of the Cars of the Week, you’ll get a little bonus! Here are the winners from last week.
3. Most active users of the week ($5,000 vDollars) : The top 3 users who send and accept the most challenges and invitations will get this reward.
4. Biggest loser of the week ($5,000 vDollars) : The user who has the most losses for the week will receive an extra little boost!
5. Submit a valid bug ticket ($1,000 vDollars) : If you think you found a bug in the system, please submit a report here. If we verify that it is in fact a bug and you were the first to submit it, you will receive a little reward.
6. Submit a part request here. If it’s accepted we will reward you with $5,000 vDollars!

In addition to all of these new ways to make money, we have also increased the current rewards:

1. Underdog wins are now worth $800 vDollars (used to be $500)
2. Accepted invitations are now worth $1,600 vDollars (used to be $800)

July 08, 2008 vDream Car Release: Ford Mustang GT

Enter the Ford Mustang GT, a great straight-line racer, with a throaty V8 and oodles of torque. A couple hints about this car:

VERY responsive to engine upgrades. Don’t be surprised to see a lot of power coming out of this big V8.

It’s heavy. Try your best to shave that weight off to clock those fast times!

July 06, 2008 Update: Earn More $$ From Challenges

We’ve made some slight updates to our rewards system so that it is easier for you guys out there to earn money through challenges. Here’s whats new:

1. Rewards for winning a challenge were increased by $100 vDollars. They are now $400/500 vDollars (favorite/underdog)
2. There is now a $25 vDollar reward for sending a challenge
3. There is now a $25 vDollar penalty for cancelling a challenge
4. There is now a $20 vDollar reward for accepting a challenge

So you just joined and really really want to get that new supercharger kit to boost your hp and torque, but just don’t have the funds… You’ve maxed out your challenges for the day and there’s still nothing you can do! How can you quickly make that extra $5K so you can start kicking some @$$?

The easiest and fastest way to make money on vDream is by inviting your friends to join the app! You currently receive $400 for each invitation that you simply send, and an addition $800 on top of that for each invitation that gets accepted. Not to mention that you’ll get the satisfaction of burning your friends and raking in the additional dough from challenges after they join!

We here at vDream really really care about what you, our users, think. We like to think of ourselves as the manufacturers of your virtual playground for cars. That’s why user feedback is important to us. User feedback is so important, in fact, that we would like you to decide what new cars we release on vDream.

Many of you have noticed that we released a new car this week. Well, the goodies don´t stop there. We will be releasing a new car into the world of vDream every week. Every week we will conduct an online poll to find out what car you would like to see next on vDream. Two weeks after the poll is finished, the new car will be introduced into the vDream virtual world! Fill out the form below to make your voice heard!

June 29, 2008 vDream Car Release: Acura Integra Type-R

Hello vDreamers! Welcome to the first of many vDream Car Releases! We have introduced the 00-01 Acura Integra Type-R! It is one of the entry-level cars, so you won’t be seeing as many of the Volkswagen GTI’s and Mini Coopers anymore.

The reason why we chose the Integra is because we feel that the Integra is an iconic entry level car for enthusiasts. That, and I have a soft spot for them because I used to own one. One of our guys, Cheechoo Bomzar, has been piloting the Integra, so you might have seen it already in random challenges.

June 27, 2008 vDream Tip: Challenge Notifications

So you’ve just sent out a challenge to your good friend, let’s call him Tom. 3 hours later Tom accepts your challenge. That’s nice, but how are you supposed to know that your challenge has been accepted and that you can now view the results? Let’s say 4 hours later Tom sends you a new challenge. How can you check your new challenges without having to open up the entire vDream facebook application in your browser? The answer is… Facebook Notifications!

Facebook Notifications are used to give you updates on your vDream account. Whenever a challenge that you made gets accepted or you receive a challenge you will receive a new notification. Check your notifications, it could save you some time!

In order to enable your notifications on Facebook, go to “Account” in the top navigation, click on “Notifications”, and then make sure notifications for “vDream Racing” are set to “On”. I included some screen shots below for you visual learners…
